People assume this started with Ttump. It did not. Things have been really messed up awhile. I hope this is the wake up call we needed. Idk, seems many are still willing just to ignore it.

Last week, ICE arrested and separated a father and son after a routine check-in. Six-year-old Yuanxin had just enrolled in the first grade at an elementary school in Astoria. Now he's in custody, alone. ICE won't say where. This cruelty serves no one. It must end.

Trump’s economic policies are for corporations, not the rest of us. They’re flattening communities like Warren. We’re fighting for an economy that builds jobs through small businesses, empowers unions, and protects your healthcare.

In April, Trump went to Warren, promising "the greatest economy in the history of the world." Residents there say they're still trying to make ends meet.

Expiring ACA tax credits will hit small businesses especially hard. Meanwhile, 74% of small business owners are worried that their business won’t survive due to Trump’s tariffs.

Trump is crushing small businesses while doling out tax breaks to his big corporate donors.

Priorities.

Today is World AIDS Day, a day that reminds me of the decades-long fight for dignity, science, and compassion. We’ve come so far because activists, researchers, and communities refused to be ignored.

I don’t consider ICE to be a law-enforcement organization. I consider them to be an organized crime syndicate. Nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe he should have been fired when he planned top secret ops over a popular iPhone app, breaching every national security protocol, and accidentally including a journalist in the group.

Energy transitions can happen faster than we think:

In 2000 almost 90% of Denmark's electricity was from fossil fuels.

In 2024 less than 10% of Danish electricity was from fossil fuels.

We now have an unprecedented level of income & wealth inequality.

It isn’t acceptable that the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 93%, while a majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

We must stand together & create an economy that works for all, not just the few.

The New Deal wasn’t built on a promise that there would be “no ceiling” for the richest Americans.

Quite the opposite, in fact. FDR knew its politics could only work if he singled out the rich as villains and knew that its policies could only work if the rich paid their fair share in taxes.

Millions of workers are toiling away from their families this holiday weekend.

So thank the workers who serve you. Appreciate the workers who care for you. Respect the workers who pick up your trash. Salute the workers who get you your mail.

Pay all workers a living wage.
