Favorite thing about Wikipedia is that every time it was first explained ("anyone can edit!") the presumption was it would never work but every time early social media was explained ("now everyone has a platform!") it was basically understood as an unqualified good

Much ink has been spilled to the effect of "trans girl spinny skirt cringe" but I don't think people realize how demandingly rigid the rituals of forced masculinity are. I was screamed at for wearing the "wrong colored" shoes. Let trans women be girls, most were not allowed to be.
One of the great things about being a trans woman is giving yourself permission to finally like cute things that weren't "socially acceptable" to enjoy before.
