Good afternoon #cookingsky, a request for help, please. I'm looking for a particular French fish soup I recall my late father bringing back from France in the 80s/very early 90s. It came in a packet, in dry form, with a smaller packet of croutons inside. These were so fierce with garlic my mother

I can still get books delivered to you before Christmas.

Even though it's mad busy and my suppliers are working their socks off to get books to you, I can still offer a 24 hour tracked service for deliveries.

How dreamy is that?

Handypersons! Help me remove a drawer from my bedside table. (A book has fallen down behind it and now it won’t close fully…)

The drawer has a single underside slider in the centre of the drawer bottom. No clips or levers to release it. It’s from Laura Ashley, if that helps. Best pics I could get:

If you’re in the UK today, and are tempted to buy an actual printed copy of a newspaper (go on!) may I suggest @telegraph.co.uk ?

I’ve done a Yuletide feature for them, emphasising that festive gatherings (or indeed cosy hibernation) should involve minimum hassle, and maximum fun… #buyapaper

I'm opening up some cooking classes for Jan/Feb and they'd make a great gift for yourself or someone you love this Christmas. My goal is as much teaching you skills as it is teaching how to love being in the kitchen and to take joy from cooking. Check it out: www.wilreidie.com/cooking-clas...

When another man is publicly revealed to have behaved inappropriately, what still breaks my brain is how many people connected to the industry sector concerned are, at best, totally unsurprised at both the information itself and the inaction by those who should have protected people.

Really lovely ceramics, I have some of the plant labels and a particularly beautiful tree decoration 💚
If you wanted to purchase any of my wife's ceramics for Christmas, her last visit* to the post office will be on Friday.

I think the code BIGMOUTH still gives my online friends some discount.

*Not ever, I hope she'll visit the post office many more times in her life, but for now.
