A must-read for lawyers!
Covering the courts for nearly two decades, I've never seen a federal judge tell the government in exclamation-point-punctuating exasperation that an executive order violates the vision of the Framers.
Another federal judge STRIKES DOWN Trump's order targeting a law firm for political retribution — this time, using exclamation marks twice in the introduction to emphasize that the executive order is against the Founding Fathers' vision.

If anyone is wondering, there are 27 exclamation points in Richard Leon's order striking Trump's EO targeting WilmerHale.

One is Trump's.

Whatever you’re doing today, please stop and take a moment to remember what today is for.

The tree on the left at the Rookery is down, with several displaced nests. Any Minneapolis birders know when it happened? Photo on right was mid-April when herons, egrets, and cormorants were building nests. There were still lots of birds there today.

i think it should be a bigger story that the president held a meeting with a foreign head of state where he ranted about the most gutter white supremacist propaganda you can find on the internet

I donated! You should too!! This race is so important. Minneapolis needs an effective mayor who can actually lead.
Friends, I need your support. My campaign is running on the strength of neighbors across the city making a financial commitment to change at City Hall.

Will you help me out by making a contribution to my campaign?

Rare achievement that the Daily Mail won’t take your side when you’re trying to be anti-woke.

If you donate to Republican candidates…

And almost a third of your donors are Republicans…

And you’re anti-labor and pro-criminalizing marijuana…

Should you be running for the DFL endorsement?

These are good questions for Elizabeth Shaffer ahead of Saturday’s Ward 7 convention.

I went to the May Day pro union rally at MSP airport. Peggy Flanagan made an appearance. A picket line, fun chants, lots of union representation. It was great!

Good thread on the mayoral debate. I found the questions to be thoughtful and the event well organized. Feel grateful to have more than one good alternative to Frey.

Visited the rookery this afternoon, north of downtown Minneapolis, where great blue herons, egrets, and cormorants nest. There are over 100 nests and lots of busy birds. Very cool.
