Rest in power, Alice.

The disability community needed her. She exposed a new audience to disability culture with her Teen Vogue column. She fought for us to have a voice in every space, and while I didn't always agree with her, I admired her confidence, grit, brilliance, and beauty.

“Does it replace jobs here and there? No doubt about it,” he said.

He noted that he hopes embracing AI will grow the company and allow journalists to focus on reporting.

I'm grateful to work in a newsroom that still supports covering diversity, equity, and inclusion in business. It's a big umbrella and tells stories that are often overlooked.

It's heartbreaking watching colleagues from other outlets lose their jobs because those stories get lost, too.
The retrenchment is here: As more news outlets and media companies roll back commitments to diversity efforts, including reporting on stories about traditionally marginalized groups, the avenues for reporters who specialize in such coverage grow increasingly limited. www.thewrap.com/nbc-news-div...
