I have to ask this question. If this guy was so upset that he wanted to shoot some National Guardsmen why did he drive all the way from Washington state to D.C. to do it? There are lots of National Guardsmen closer to where he was. Question everything!

The Thanksgiving food rundown for today:
As previously mentioned, smoked a brisket. Made some burnt ends but with a Japanese BBQ sauce base. No complaints. First foil container has pieces from the point and the other has some pieces from the flat (not really burnt ends but they're still tasty). 1/4

If I'm understanding this correctly, the man who shot two national guards in DC was a former Afghan child soldier who fought alongside US special forces and in a CIA-supervised unit and later was granted asylum. The word "blowback" comes to mind.

To be clear a FED judge ordered the removal of the National Guard in DC. He gave 21 days to do it. Trump said he would appeal. So again INSTEAD of following court orders he is deploying another 500 members IN DEFIANCE OF THE COURT ORDER. This needs to be a massive story
