As I explained when Davis' lawyers filed this petition, there was virtually no chance that the Supreme Court would seriously consider her case. I doubt there are five votes to overturn Obergefell—but if there were, this case does not present a clean vehicle for doing so. slate.com/news-and-pol...
The Sudden Panic That SCOTUS Might Overturn Marriage Equality Misses the Real Threat
Kim Davis’ case will not be the vehicle the court uses to eradicate the equal dignity of same-sex couples.

About Teen Vogue,
I don't read or care much for a lot of mainstream media, but Teen Vogue is the only consistent non-Native media outlet that has always done an incredible job reporting on Native issues and giving our talent a platform to shine and not just to fill their "diversity" quota.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

I’m convinced the United States government distributed copies of “Legend Of Kage, “Karnov”, “Rygar”, “Section Z”, “Kid Niki: The Radical Ninja”, “Trojan”, “The Guardian Legend”, etc. mostly in Black & Latino households. I NEVER once encountered a singular soul in possession of “Kid Icarus”! NEVER.
Okay love all of these but...i don't think we had a week without me, bro, or Mom playing Karnov

3 years ago from the date of this screening. And then... nothing

Given how long it took to even get THIS off the ground, maybe my great-grandchildren are destined to see the reboot.

Can I walk to multiple barbershop in less than 15 minutes in Roxbury?

Yes.

Do I drive 20+ minutes every 2 weeks to my old neighborhood to see the fine fellows at Roslindale Barbershop, who have taken care of me for 8+ years?

Also yes.

Your life isn’t over and you aren’t a failure because things you expected to happen for you already HAVEN’T.

The reality is when it finally happens, you’ll be better prepared to navigate/deal with it than if it had when you initially expected it.

You’ll only fight the dragon on a much higher level
Those who are 35+, what advice do you have for people just entering their 30s?

Thank God for challengers.

We should not send Stephen Lynch back to DC.
I understand why some of the members voted this way. But it is not how I would have voted. We can acknowledge the horror of the assassination without valorizing the legacy of his political project.

I think that if you are trying to understand the Anthropic book settlement, and you are not doing it in light of the (extremely) failed Google book settlement from 2011, you will never be able to understand what is happening.
