People living with chronic illness and disability are all unique and there’s a spectrum of experiences and opinions about best practices —

But everyone agrees that being excluded from society helps nobody !!

How you include or passively exclude people with disability and chronic illness matters

What is the incidence of people like me, who contracted it at the age of 6 months, and have suffered a lifetime of post-viral syndrome-ignited autoimmune disease and disability as a result?

RFK Jr is a genocidal monster who should be locked up fro crimes against humanity. He's pure evil.
RFK Jr. appointee Kirk Milhoan has just clearly stated, out loud, that he wants to experiment on the people of the United States by seeing what happens as vaccination coverage plummets and infectious diseases spread.

Billionaires are so bland. You have all this money, and you're wearing boring T-shirts? Your house is beige or white and you have no hobbies outside of work? How fucking dull. Who wants to imitate these fools?

When talking politics, keep ableist bull to yourself. That includes using drool, diapers, or developmental disorders as insults. It's disgusting that so many on "the right side of history" think disability is a biting insult. You realize when you do this, you're causing harm, right?

Not only was DOGE illegally accessing your Social Security information, but it was also illegally offering to share it with third-party political groups working to overturn elections.

This is a deep betrayal of the public trust and must be fully investigated. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/20/u...

I have the flu, and now I suspect my bf had it first—although he's convinced it was food poisoning. But it's the only way I could have gotten sick. Neither of us ever leave the house, except for our recent road trip that we believe started all this.

Ladies… pay attention!

The SAVE Act would require voter ID to match your birth certificate.

Almost 80% of married women take their spouses name and would be ineligible to vote.

Trump knows this. It’s what he wants.

He wants to stop women from voting.

I have an essay due at noon tomorrow and the data is so slim... Also I'm pretty sure my classmate used chatGPT to do his portion of our group project and I'm so livid. It's as if he had chatGPT do his homework, but then he tried to hide it by "making it better" except it's all junk.

I think there are benefits to limiting cell phone use at school. But also, I remember being a kid and my phone saving me in so many embarrassing or even life threatening situations. I don't want children to need to rely on the adults in their life being competent or kind to survive.

I need new music to listen to. Preferably rock or pop rock or stuff that's just plain fun to listen to, but make it indie.

Some of my current faves, not necessarily indie:
Iniko
We Are In The Crowd
Bleached

Just realized my middle school orchestra teacher totally knew and facilitated me and my classmates' theft of first chair music sheets. He made them seem like a forbidden thing, but he had to have known since he printed out enough copies for us all to have first and second chair copies of every song

I'm listening to "I'll Make A Man Out Of You"—the Disney song. I forgot what fun it is to sing this song. I think it was a great choice for first song of the day

With as much sleep as I require, I should just change my name to Rip Van Winkle and ask everyone how many years have passed each time I wake up. This is the disabled/chronically ill life.

"I mask around immunocompromised people" - this is a great aim, but how do you know who is vulnerable? You can't tell just by looking at someone. Also everyone is susceptible to the longterm harms of Covid

Last night, I was tired but not tired enough for sleep, so I thought, "I'll start a new audiobook and when I feel sleepy I'll stop and go to bed." The book started off great. I'm a huge fan of the author, and they wrote brilliantly. I was engrossed in the story from the beginning. I had read...
