This morning, I was hit in the face by a baton.
I’m going to have a pretty gnarly bruise but we need to remember why this is happening: Trump and ICE are rounding up our neighbors, treating them as subhuman, and shipping them off to labor camps in foreign countries. It has to end.

Zach borodkin, 37, who lives on the upper east side said he’s out here representing people living with disabilities. He said Trump’s cuts to programs like Medicaid will harm vulnerable populations.

Labels opened up ways of dealing with these difficulties. I could find out how other people with my disabilities deal with the same struggle. That's a good thing! But I shouldn't have had to do it mostly on my own, after internalizing that I was lazy.

Had a great time attending Bromley Disability Pride this afternoon - a lovely afternoon of poems, songs, dances (including one where I joined in!) and an allotment talk.
Also got to meet the Mayor of Bromley (a fellow neurodivergent lawyer) and chat about neurodiversity and disability inclusion.

Every day in our #afterschool program at the McKim Center, Wisdom Projects teachers and Youth #Peacemakers offer one-on-one support for #children who have #disabilities. This week the #WhiteHouse laid off #SpecialEducation school workers who do the same in the #US, harming #vulnerable #kids.
