These are the same far-right Republicans that are funding British “gender-critical feminists” to “protect women” from trans people.
Terrifying.

"More and more, influential voices in the Maga movement and the far-right Republican party are calling to strip women of the franchise."

"The opposition to women’s suffrage has entered the mainstream as the Republican party has radicalized."

🚨 A Canadian company just signed a deal to rush military vehicles to ICE — the agency committing violent, racist raids, tearing families apart. The contract isn’t fulfilled yet. We have time to stop it. Tell PM Carney to block the deal: leadnow.ca/campaigns/no... #cdnpoli

This is pretty good except - move Rogue One up to #3, Return of the Jedi down to #4 and then just eliminate the rest of the list. Star Wars Christmas Special is #5.
Honorable Star Wars Rankings, Pritzker.

Here is the correct list:

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. Star Wars
3. Return of the Jedi
4. Revenge of the Sith
5. Rogue One
6. Last Jedi
7. Force Awakens
8. Phantom Menace
9. Solo
10. Attack of the Clones
.
.
.
.
.
11. Rise of Skywalker
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

I agree with the premise. We shouldn't just photocopy US China policy, but I would be friendlier than this suggests. Even a lot of the author's points reflect U.S. anti-China propaganda. We need a new trade deal, renewed cultural exchange, and an open, ongoing conversation with China.
Canada’s trade dealings with China often uncritically mirrored Washington’s moves. But now the U.S. has gone rogue, it might be the time for Canada to engage pragmatically with China. https://macleans.ca/politics/canada-china-relations/

I cannot tell you how many tech journalists at prominent media organizations do not understand this
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

Mark Walter, principal owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, serves as CEO of Guggenheim Partners, which holds ~$12 million stake in the GEO Group, a private prison corporation that operates ICE detention centers.

This is why the Dodgers won’t directly condemn the raids destroying immigrant families.
I don’t mind that the owners of the Dodgers are squirming right now.

Because they also own a piece of a growing system of concentration camps that hold folks like me in dark, painful, & deadly environments.
