Bombing another nation & allegedly kidnapping its ruler - all openly admitted to be motivated by oil & Maduro's solidarity with Cuba - is not a "distraction" from Trump's crimes in the Epstein files. It is terroristic. They're not gonna hold him accountable, so you'll have to do that yourself.

Americans -both Democrats and Republicans - have like European leaders, all turned a blind eye to the Israeli practice of kidnapping and destroying foreign actors ... arbitrarily. Now that Trump is imitating Netanyahu - they dare not object.

Fun fact: the US has been at continual war since 1945 and *not a single one of these wars*, from the Korean War to Vietnam to Iraq to Iraq again, was ever declared war by Congress.

The last time the US Congress declared war was 1942. 83 years ago.
A lot of people are talking about whether Trump is going to go to war with Iran but not enough people are talking about the fact that Trump has no legal authority to do so without Congressional authorization

Im seeing discussions about consultations with congress, authorizations of force etc. I have to say this transcends any of what I would call sub constitutional technicalities. The president has gone to war with a foreign power and, it seems, kidnapped a foreign head of state on the basis of nothing.

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Cancel the LA Olympics, scrap the World Cup, the United States cannot be a trusted part of the international community so long as the White House operates this violently and with impunity.

If you're an American (or from another similar western nation) I cannot stress enough that you should look into the history of the atrocities the USA has committed in South America. This is not new and we cannot let the horrific crimes perpetuated in this nation's name repeat

Finally saw "Sinners." GotDAMN that was good. It's so beautiful to see a Black creative, in the fullness of his power, ignore all the "shoulds" and conventions and just COOK. That movie was so good it made me come home and write.
