This is one of those things that is very, very bad, but they clearly have not thought through. Being able to vent anonymously online is a big factor in sublimating our collective frustration and outrage and I think that itself leads to inaction. Taking that away is going to lead to real action

I think the main reason BlueSky won't "take off" like twitter did is that this format does not attract new social media users and there's nothing this platform or any other could do to change that. The kids like videos, so text based social media apps just aren't going to grow significantly
