People having a lot of trouble understanding how Dems behave as a party don’t understand the Democratic Party.
It’s not a party united by ideology—like the GOP mostly is—it’s a bunch of constituencies in a basic (democratic) bargain: votes for government programs that benefit them.

If she had that much dedication to literacy, her life would be different
As a retiring but still sitting member of the House, MTG has the opportunity to read into the public record documents that otherwise could not be released... and would be protected by the constitution's speech or debate clause from prosecution.

something i'll note is that if nuzzi ran catch-and-kill ops for rfk jr and lizza knew this prior to him being appointed as HHS, and instead of telling anyone, he decided to save it for his substack long after rfk jr had made communicable disease into federal policy, that's completely fucked

I don’t believe that there was mass rape by the elites—by definition, the elites are opposed to mass anything— I don’t even believe that most of the people in Epstein’s orbit were rapists.

The issues with racism in Labour under Corbyn and Starmer are of a piece with each other and this is a really good example of how: complete inability to recognise a racist trope on social media when its deployment advances your own political agenda.
To be clear, if you think that 'objecting to someone who looks at this mural and goes "can't see the problem" is some kind of smear, congratulations, you are a racist!
