Pete Hegseth Should Be Charged With Murder

When Bezos changed the Washington Post's editorial board standards to align with “personal liberties and free markets,” he meant his own liberty to become even richer and more powerful, as the rest of America slides into worse economic insecurity and fear.
The Washington Post editorial board railed against a wealth tax without noting its owner, Jeff Bezos, stands to benefit more from its tax policy prescriptions than nearly anyone else on the planet.

Meanwhile the president is intentionally trying to cut off food for hungry people who live in states that did not vote for him.

TLDR: Texas is empowering Any Random Motherfucker to sue abortion pill providers—from Big Pharma to a physician to Susan who happened to have an extra dose of mife in her van—and to win a 10K bounty for their troubles.

And if the plaintiff is related to the fetus, 100K.

Great day for abusers.

A 100K hit isn't a big deal for an abortion pill manufacturer like Danco (which is probably going to file a lawsuit any minute now).

But for organizations like AID Access or Plan C which mail pills to people in Texas—or individual distributors—it's a huge deal. Litigation costs. Damages.
Yikes.

At a time when eggs cost, like, $30 a dozen, it's pretty gross for a state to be incentivizing people to snitch on their abortion providers.

Don't expect the Supreme Court to step in. They were utterly confounded back in 2021 by SB 8, the original bounty hunter law crafted by Jonathan Mitchell.

In a post-Roe world, it’s state courts that will determine the rights of pregnant people.
