The blood elves and Forsaken are both survivors who cling to life with tooth and nail and will employ any means necessary to ensure their own survival. If dark magic served them, they’d use it. Why would they turn into conservative light worshippers when we already have SO many flavours of that?

If ever there is a lesson to learn about artists you find out being absolute monsters to other people, and your first reaction is to feel conflicted because you 'liked their work', I deeply suggest avoiding putting ANYONE atop a pedastal. Yes, that means your favourite artist.
