No joke, TIL I learned how you're actually supposed to say "Le"

Also completely, 100% true: as I was practicing my guttural Rs (and getting a lot closer to being able to say Sucre right, if I do say so myself), my cat Bowser came down from his perch and looked at me as if to say, "Are you alright?"

Dynomutt looked REALLY good! I honestly wish he got a lot more screentime. I think this movie was so jam packed with characters that they ones they had didn't have enough time to shine.

I think it’s a lot of fun to try even though I’m definitely botching it XD

I used to not be able to roll my Rs in Spanish or say long phrases in Japanese, so I believe 👏 even if the effort makes me cough the first few hundreds of times lol

I actually haven’t watched much of Jellystone. I started from season one but couldn’t get into it. But you’re not the first person I’ve heard who ended up really loving it. Do you have any particular favorite season or episodes?

I really hate the trend of one word titles. Sometimes it makes sense and can be cool, but other times—like this time—it’s painfully forced.

This movie ain’t great. But you can tell some animators worked really hard to make parts of it look good. During the mediocre parts I had a kind of apathy like, “well, it IS Scooby-Doo”

HOWEVER I hate that marketing named it “Scoob!” and not “Scooby-Doo and the Skulls of Cerberus”!!! WHAT

I always knew that there was a lot of French influence in Japanese culture, but being confronted with having to pronounce all these names is really making me contend with it!

I think being able to identify and kind of pronounce French names even if I don’t know it would be an awesome skill to have

I’ve played a lot of different games in my RPG Sunday streams and the one theme that somehow ties them all together is “learn how to pronounce French names or perish”

Personally I think the highlight of last night’s stream is when I looked up how you’re actually supposed to pronounce “Sucre” and nearly died trying to pronounce the guttural R (it has a Wikipedia page look it up) in French

I've been tagging and transcribing old Slightly Damned pages on the website as I repost them under the # readsdamned tag. But now that the story is out of St. Curtis, I'm not sure what to call this liminal setting the comics are currently taking place in (circled in red). Or other locations like it.

My earnest wish is that as many friends of mine as possible (and more) are able to spend as much of their time as they want making art. Good or bad doesn’t really matter. There’s just all this capitalism in the way that mucks things up, distracting us with things like “threat of starvation”
