If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

I think one of the hardest things about being a career writer in traditional publishing is that writing attracts the neurodivergent brain while the variable reinforcement schedule punishes it. Today I nailed my first week 4 couch-to-5k run and had enough energy left to dance my way back to the car to Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads. (Because I’m working on a playlist for Murder Grannies).
This is the most running I’ve done in 40 years and I’m taking to it like a Clydesdale to Polka 😂

The downside to an oven safe frying pan is that after pulling it from a hot oven, my brain quickly forgets that the handle I can grab bare-handed 90% of the time and looks no different is now ✨extremely evil.✨

I was struggling with my upper body workout after a week off, but a fabulous fearless Italian grandma came up to me at the gym asked me to show her some stuff on the cable machine because I looked strong, and she was going to get strong too. It made my whole day 🥺💜 (and she taught me some Italian!)

Any Filipino Blueskies willing to answer a question? I have a side character who speaks multiple languages, and I list Filipino as one. But (non-Filipino) folks in my writing group tried to correct that to Tagalog. My understanding is they are related, but separate languages. Am I missing something?

It's a great cosmic joke that neurodivergence both runs in families and gets diagnosed based on parent reports. I was diagnosed at 30 because a man who has eaten potatoes every day for 57 years and a woman who collects loose buttons decided I was a perfectly normal child.

I love that our kitchen faucet pivots wide so I can set something on the counter next to the sink to fill with water.
