I just learned the Bugs Bunny No meme doesn't even come from him saying no. It's a frame rotated 90 degrees from him taking a drink from a bottle. I needed to share this.

Cannot overstate how, from my perch as a national-security reporter, this would have been an earth-shattering scandal in a prior era.
Billionaire Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, pardoned by Donald Trump, has been accused of facilitating millions of dollars’ worth of payments to Hamas in the wake of its attack on Israel on October 7 2023. Zhao also financed the Trump family's entrance into the cryptocurrency market.

This is heartbreakingly cruel and hypocritical. The same admin that has redefined refugee status to cover white South Africans is now going to drown thousands of refugees already approved for their status in red tape, potentially even seeking to strip some of their status and deport them.
Trump Admin planning a rule to re-decide whether *every* refugee who entered under Biden meets their criteria for a refugee. That’s 230,000 people! And no appeals!

Attack of the Clones is one of the worst big blockbuster movies ever made. It showed us Yoda fighting for the first time, going insane like a coked up little ninja dude, and it can't overcome *gestures wildly*

It also sports one of the worst on screen romances of that decade (Christensen+Portman)
i would push rogue one down and bring solo and the last jedi up. i’d also place attack of the clones at the bottom.
haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

No intention here of calling out the poster with the following - I think most people eat bad, dried out turkey for thanksgiving.

This is because of the ancestral practice of cooking it whole, when the need to break it down by breast and dark meat is even more urgent with a turkey.
it is tired to the point of cliche to say if turkey was good, people would make it more than once a year. but it is understated that at least one American explodes every Thanksgiving in a brave attempt to make the main dish more palatable

Would be awesome to have something like the Yggdrasil's hangar in Xenogears !
Daiso is selling these great Connectable Display Bases for Gunpla/Plamo kits, & they're super cheap, currently only $2.25. If you have some HG Gundam/Mobile Suit kits or other model kits of a similar size, they will fit. And they stack, so it can eventually look like you have a whole Gundam hangar.

I recommend in the strongest possible terms that journalists cease using the term "divisive" and other adjectives to sanitize mistakes made by the subjects of their stories.

The Game of Thrones finale is universally panned and reviled. There are only exceptions to this sentiment among audiences.

$1 of every $13 poured into the 2024 elections came from the country's 100 richest people.

Trump is letting billionaires run the show and they want to further rig the system for themselves, against working people.

It time to End Citizens United. Pass campaign finance reform. Empower the PEOPLE.
How billionaires took over American politics
The current concentration of wealth is unlike anything in history. So is billionaires’ involvement in politics.
