bill's here and it's goddamn wild. it guts the Comptroller, shifts its responsibilities to the machine-controlled State Commission of Investigation, and gives SCI the power to obstruct federal investigations and interfere with state and county prosecutors' handling of public corruption cases

JFK BRT is a moderate transit investment that would have huge benefits. In the vein of quicker wins, there are incremental ways to speed up buses, including by eliminating bad bus stop spacing. Two examples in Jersey City of bus stops just a block apart, unnecessarily slowing them down (87, 8).
