I was called yesterday to assist a young woman who had fell off her bike. Residential street among council blocks. Almost everyone stopped to ask if we needed help. A neighbour produced 2 blankets, we stayed with her until the ambulance arrived.
People in London Absolutely do try and help.
There were 93 homicides in London last year: population 9 million

In New York - population 8.5 million - there were
391.

London's homicide figure is 6 times lower than LA, 9 times lower than Miami, 17 times lower than Chicago.

And it's falling year on year despite the population increasing

China is building an empire around green industries.

Meanwhile the US humiliates its friends and undermines their democracy.

Europe is flailing somewhere in the middle stuck between the past and the future.

And the UK is completely at sea.

As an absolute minimum Southern Water should be providing staff and equipment to help clean this up.

Why are they not legally required to do this? More, why have they not offered?

Relying on volunteers using dustpans and brushes is not going to provide the best outcome.

Does it seem plausible that THE Trocadero is going to be turned into a Mosque?

It was pretty easy to debunk but I decided to do a deep dive into the reality AND the appalling press coverage

The economic sense is so extremely in favour of renewables now, Pakistan is even paying Qatar penalties to rather NOT deliver the fossil gas that Pakistan already placed orders for, because their Solar PV and batteries make much more sense.

It saves them money to cancel their gas imports and pay!
So Pakistan is *paying* Qatar to *not* deliver LNG because even including this penalty payment their solar PV and battery spending is much better value for money and saves them billions.

How fascinating!
