Electricity costs are up nearly 8% in South Carolina since last year.

And what’s Trump doing about it? Hanging out with rich big tech CEOs whose data centers are spiking demand—while slashing investments in cheap, clean energy that could boost supply and drive prices down.
Soaring electricity prices are triggering a wave of power shutoffs, leaving more in the dark as unpaid bills pile up.

Americans are paying 11 percent more for electricity than they were in January, though that number varies widely by state.

Thanksgiving dinner is going to cost you about 10% more this year, according to a new report.

Many Americans voted for Trump because they thought he’d lower costs. He has totally failed.

This is decades of Republican health care policy in a nutshell.

They are in lockstep when it comes to taking away Americans’ health care, but can’t manage to come together to offer any ideas that would make health care more affordable for all.

A nursing-home exec who defrauded the government of $38M paid MAGA lobbyists $1M to seek a Trump pardon—and Trump granted it.

While Americans struggle to afford their bills, Trump is focused on protecting his rich allies that have profited off the backs of everyday people.

Walmart CFO: “If you look at October wage growth, the difference between wage growth in the low-income and high-income cohorts was as large as it’s been in almost a decade."

38% of Americans approve of Trump’s presidency, a new low. Why?

Instead of lowering prices, his tariffs are raising them.

Instead of building housing, he’s building a ballroom.

Instead of reducing health care costs, he’s raising them.

Trump's working for himself, not for you.

Children in underperforming schools and the lowest income communities are going to suffer greatly from this.

What is Trump proud of hurting American children?

$1T is about equal to Saudi Arabia’s annual GDP.

This is what the Trump admin does: announce some massive, unworkable foreign investment—no details, no timeline.

Foreign leaders know that Trump prioritizes talking points for himself over actual benefits for the American people.

When Trump was asked during the shutdown about extending the ACA tax credits, he said, “I want to get the country open, and then we’re going to discuss that.”

Now with the shutdown over, Trump’s ruling out an extension.

Don’t trust Republicans with your health care. Ever.
November 19, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Let me get this straight: The Trump admin. is taking in billions of dollars from tariffs—which are paid for by Americans in the form of higher prices—and are now talking about giving the money back, but people shouldn’t spend it?

What is the point of all this?

During the Biden Administration, the Department of Justice was investigating Epstein’s co-conspirators.

Trump’s DOJ killed the investigation.

The victims are now demanding justice by releasing the files. Trump has tried to kill that too.

What is the Trump Administration hiding?
November 18, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Trump’s “concept of a plan" is to give money directly to Americans for health care—without the ACA protections that have enabled more than 20 million Americans to afford high-quality insurance.

The likely result would be increased costs for those most in need of care.
November 18, 2025 at 6:09 PM
For months, Democrats have supported releasing the Epstein files to deliver justice for the victims — and accountability for anyone who participated in Epstein’s abuse, regardless of their political affiliation.

Trump and many Republicans are only now joining that effort with today’s vote.
November 18, 2025 at 5:15 PM
I’m glad Trump now supports the House vote on the Epstein Files.

Hopefully, he’ll be just as enthusiastic in supporting a Senate vote and signing the bill if it comes to his desk.

Americans deserve to know the truth about Epstein’s crimes, and the victims deserve justice.

Trump told Americans tariffs would be paid by other countries.

Now as Americans struggle to pay for groceries, the White House is removing many food tariffs because they’re raising costs.

Trump’s lies are catching up to him.
KERNEN: If we're reversing some tariffs to try to help affordability, isn't that acknowledging that tariffs were responsible for some of the higher prices and inflation?

Better luck next year.

Republicans are coming around to supporting the release of the Epstein files. It’s about time.

We missed almost all of you on the discharge petition, but Democrats welcome anyone who is determined to deliver justice to all the women and girls who were victims of Epstein crimes.

The Trump administration is canceling a Biden plan that would have required airlines to pay passengers cash when their flight is disrupted and it’s the airline’s fault.

This would have put money back in Americans’ pockets. Not anymore.

The Trump administration is trying to convince you that they are lowering food costs by removing the tariffs that increased prices in the first place.

Don’t believe their lies.
November 15, 2025 at 12:17 AM
Blame the former President, and try to convince Americans that costs are down, not up.

That’s Trump’s “strategy” to bring down prices.

When my hometown of Sumter, SC is mentioned, I need to set the record straight.

1. That plant was initiated under Biden, not Trump.
2. It's tied to EVs, which Trump calls a hoax.
3. Trump's "big, beautiful bill" will kill thousands of EV jobs.

Facts matter.
November 14, 2025 at 1:42 PM
Yes, there is a split screen.

Democrats who are fighting to lower health care costs.

And Republicans who refuse to do anything to address costs, and are in fact kicking millions of Americans off their health care.

The contrast really couldn’t be clearer.
