I am very very convinced that the phrase “creative person” is completely tautologous. My evidence is only that I have met quite a lot of people.
If you find yourself asking “why am I still in?” the answer might be that you’re the sort of person who asks that question. Egocentric people can be manipulated #TheTraitorsUK

we've been troubled for a while by mysterious clanking and scuffling sounds from the ceiling, and also small objects going missing and reappearing in unlikely places, so finally anya cut a hole and we were able to extract the culprit. it appears to be a haunted puppet

I am taking this racist drivel down as dictation practice (with a fever). Not technically hard -- the English is simple, however unrelenting.
I think a lot of ppl find it hard to follow the sense of any long speech: here one just waits for a appealing bit and remembers the whole thing as coherent

Very disappointed the High Court have ruled the gvt's decision to authorise the use of PAVA spray in 3 YOIs is lawful, following a challenge by @thehowardleague.bsky.social

‼️Nacro stands with 37 organisations opposing this development and we will continue to monitor the situation.
We promise to monitor closely the use of PAVA spray against children in prison.

The High Court ruled today that the government’s decision to authorise the weapon’s rollout was lawful.

I like to highlight Robert Smallbones to people because he was an administrator and diplomat who, faced with the horrors of antisemitism and abduction in Germany, did what he could.

He wasn't perfect. His views on homosexuality were not great, even for the time.

But he saw wrong, and he acted /END

Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

Zombieing language, salting the joke fields, sneering “bizarre” at any attempt to resist with humour: these are archetypal desperate bully moves.

Satire is not defeated. Creativity finds new fields, fresh weapons. We make new parodies. I continue to laugh.

I do sometimes wonder if we’d be in a better situation as a species/planet if more of us (or even just someone at each newspaper) understood some basic #thermodynamics. Is it that the word is too intimidating? Should I say ‘heat science’ or something? www.theguardian.com/thefilter/20...
