If you want to appreciate good art that other people do, you can appreciate good art that other people do.

You don't become an artist by telling a machine to extrude an art.

You just get to pretend that you're a feudal patron invoking a serf to do your bidding.

It is funded by US.

That is OUR White House.

WE pay for EVERYTHING.

ALL OF IT.

WE THE PEOPLE are the rightful owners of this nation.

Don’t EVER forget it.

FIGHT LIKE HELL FOR IT.

NEVER give up.

This is a such a huge blow to the city's arts ecosystems. This is the coverage that in my opinion is hardest to replace or rebuild
If it clarifies what was lost this week:

Philip Kennicott and Monica Hesse remain as arts critics at The Washington Post

Eliminated:
art critic
arts editor
arts/film editor
classical critic
pop critic
television critic
theater critic
all editors/reporters in Book World including two book critics

It really pays to remind ourselves frequently that this whole immigration "crisis" is made up out of whole cloth. There was no emergency, danger or problem, only a demagogue stirring up racist grievances for political advantage.

"You can tell by his face that he wants to win."
"If it hadn't been for [the fastest skier], he would have had the fastest time."
