When you're a teenager you have a surprisingly good sense of what's ok and what's not but you're still looking to adults to say "hey that's wrong" or "trust your discomfort." I think a lot about when the Supreme Court stepped in to protect us from the unchecked executive powers of ... "administrative patent judges."
Every time I see Trump claim vast powers over economic policy that the Constitution does not give him, often only for the Supreme Court to step in and go 'seems legit,' I can't help but think about the Court carrying on as if canceling some student loan debt was shocking executive overreach
