In 1972, a Venezuelan farmer found one of his cows dead - its neck & shoulder shattered.
It was blamed on a falling boulder, which was kept as a doorstop.
It was really a meteorite - the only case of a lethal modern space rock.

I think we all must admit that the markets seem not to care whether the Fed is independent or not. (At least until they do care.)
Which should make us all realize that markets are not some deus ex machina that can save us from ourselves.

One thing I’d like to see is my senators and governor every day on tv at 5pm holding a press conference with video of every documented abuse that ICE is doing. Curate all of the witnessing we’re doing and show it to the press.
Local parents groups asking if adults can ride school buses to help protect children from ICE after a special ed bus got stopped this morning. Like a Dirty Harry movie except the villain in the federal government.

I hear your passion. However, by doing that you are giving Trump what he wants. A military state. A reason to declare the insurrection act. Trump knows he’s on his way out. This is why he’s trying to start a war. Weather in the US or outside. He does not care if we all die. He probably prefers it.
