I am queer. I love transit and i am a transit geek and enjoy city living. I love Arsenal, TFC You can find me in 114 for TFC.
i am also a comic collector and pop culture lover.
You hate trans folk, i hate you.
i hate these fluff pieces about REM. Nothing new is mentioned here, and the chance of this being replicated in Canada is zero. It’s a for profit railway that go generous concessions. it’s not replicable.

so many LRT/DMU lines saved costs by using existing ROW/highway median, it’s nothing new.
US public transit advocates: Don't just envy Europe. Start by envying Canada.

Great piece on Montreal's remarkably cheap new rapid transit system.

I still can’t wait for Line 6 to open. It sucks that the TTC/City won’t use it to its full potential initially, but that can change and the line WILL be faster and more reliable than the bus in the peak periods.

Disgusting post here. Trying to claim people pushing for transit don’t care about women. Free transit will make transit more affordable for mothers!

And yeah, you can have free transit and still have tap to exit.

A shitty post overall.

There are lots of great EVs out there. Don’t buy a Tesla.
If you won't stay away from Tesla because of the fascism, maybe you should stay away from it because it's a terrible product 🤷‍♂️ #TeslaTakedown #MuskMustFall

I have one of the first ones that MBTA handed out at station way back in 2013.
Is this the best named transit pass in North America? Other contenders include Seattle’s ORCA card. Others? Looking for ones with names that instantly connect you to the city where they’re used.

The CBC is a joke..
So, I watched part of the CBC moral panic piece on the "300% increase in violent crime" on big city transit systems. The article uses 2016 as the base year. Choosing 2016 is not an accident. That year, and the one before, were anomalies, with violent crime rates dropping significantly. 1/2

And all the cowardly politician who pushed for thd ruinous Line 2 extension to sheppard should be held accountable too.

Even with that slow sections, it takes 43 min to travel the entire 19km line. 3 min faster than Line 6!
The Waterloo LRT has its frustrating slow sections -- near Block Line Road, in Uptown Waterloo, and the approaches to Fairview and Conestoga -- but it is rapid compared to what the TTC has planned for Finch.

Hopefully it will make adjustments after revenue service starts.
Trip data for the Finch West LRT is now public and has been analyzed by Steve Munro. The average speed comes in at 13.5km/h. For reference the average speed for on street segments of the ION in Kitchener Waterloo is 18-19km/h. stevemunro.ca/2025/11/28/6...

Literally allow LRVs to cross ahead of left turns. I know the city is being overly cautious due to potential collisons. Transit riders shouldnt have to be delayed bc drivers suck.
Its wild the city/TTC are planning to run such a long schedule to save money.
Begging Metrolinx to copy Calgary and Edmonton and install crossing arms at every LRT intersection. Cars can wait - riders can't! You've spent billions on construction, don't cheap out on operations!
The TTC has published the schedule for 6 Finch West, and the travel times/speeds are not impressive compared to the existing bus service. stevemunro.ca/2025/11/28/6...

lol. I Remember that Oh the urbanity! account getting mad at Nora bc they wanted Canada to spend a lot more on the military.
I can't believe a person like this exists in real life.
I think your idea of relative military spending is derived more from Michael Moore documentaries than real life.
