Wish I'd taken the "before" photo for this one. It takes less than 10 minutes to dig through a snowbank, but it's a huge benefit to your community and neighbours to help clear a bus stop or the snowbanks that collect at street corners.

Adopt your local bus stop today to keep it cleared and happy!

Similar temperatures and snowfalls in Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto today. Let’s compare the LRTs:

ION LRT: Slight hour disruption between a small section in the north between two stations. Service has been restored.

Finch West LRT: Shut down since this morning.

I know this is a joke, but the base of advocacy is people being annoying about an issue. If every person sent an email every time their bus was late it would be so easy to advocate for bus lanes.

Walkable and accessible streets should be provided by all municipalities - not left to individual property owners. (Thanks to Phil and Rodney for taking this upon themselves though!) #Snowbility
Spent last night clearing crosswalks of snow barriers with @philmarfisi.bsky.social because the City/Region of Waterloo leaves windrows that create accessibility issues.
