I’ve mentioned exploring horror films with my teen kid - their journey started off as a child with Coraline. I’ve been slowly twisting the dial ever since; trying to figure out their breaking point and it has not happened. I need some good, truly scary suggestions because I am out of ideas.

Passed a minivan on the drive over to eastern WA today with a bumper sticker on its left side that read “Anime in the streets / Hentai in the sheets” and a bumper sticker on the other side that read “Hella kids up in this van / Honk if one falls out”. That’s a family that knows what it is about. 🫡

Today one of our cats figured out how to manipulate where the Roomba goes by batting the front bumper. She managed to get it into the bathroom where it closed the door on itself and vacuumed the bathroom for half an hour before I discovered it.

You don’t want to have access to massive amounts of player data because you’ll have to confront how just how many people button mash through any dialogue or text and then immediately start complaining about not knowing what’s going on
You wanna know why we're having nag line discourse in 2025? Because developers know we're fighting an attention economy war we'll lose no matter what. Players don't read, have TikTok open next to them, god forbid we are scared you miss something and then blame us for not giving you all the info.
