I would say that you have to train yourself to focus on the actual people who care about you & who you care about/respect. Also you have to really live into your values. Both of those things will help you weather the opinions of strangers. I think that's different than not giving a fuck.
It takes training and conditioning to not give a fuck what people think. Contrary to popular belief, even if you’re born with the ability society and peer pressure will slowly make you give a fuck. You have to unlearn, recondition, and focus.
Not giving a fuck takes practice. Go practice.

The Rob Reiner news is so shocking and sad. I’d just listened to his most recent Fresh Air interview and shared it with my mom because his work was so constant in our lives. Just wow.

Muppets Christmas Carol is the best Christmas movie bc it includes a song with the lyrics, "your future is a horror story written by your crimes" & nothing says Christmas cheer more than that. Also Michael Caine deserved all the awards for that performance. Perfection. No notes.

The only teams I cared about by the end were Pizzy and the Abdins. Their supportive and loving partnerships were fun to watch and gave me some emotional investment to keep watching. Overall, not a great season. #tar38

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
