It really is amazing think than about this contradiction between “we are inundated in media right now and our culture also scorns the idea of learning more in school about how to make media and how media works.”
There is something very, very odd about a society that is simultaneously more thoroughly and constantly saturated in media than any human group has been during the entire history of our species... but also finds it puzzling why studying art & literature might be worthwhile.
I agree that it’s high fucking time that we stopped acting like we need to grovel and constantly justify the existence of some of our most incredibly elemental and ancient human pursuits.

Esto de que “los niños de 40” me parece un subterfugio de alguien que va a por los 50, por que en mi casa siempre fueron los másters, eso de falomir ya no existía cuando me trajeron los reyes el castillo de greiscul.
Ante el inminente estreno de la nuena película de Masters del Universo, los niños de más 40 años estamos pendientes de saber si los traductores mantendrán el nombre con el que se conocía realmente a estos personajes en nuestras casas.

Controlar las formas es una forma de control social. Ellos pueden decir las mayores infamias, pero si señalas lo ruin de lo que dicen, la que hace mal eres tú y te hacen callar. Y a menudo consiguen que se interiorice y la gente buena se autocensure hasta el punto de entregar luchas de antemano.
El insulto es necesario, es parte de la condena social que tiene que padecer la escoria fascista. Esto de que no hay que "perder las formas" es (1) una tontería como una casa y (2) una narrativa desarrollada para censurar parte de nuestra libertad de expresión y que está gente este cómoda.
Creo que s MUY IMPORTANTE que dejemos de alarmaros por las formas en la crítica y aceptemos que el insulto al imbécil fascista es lo mejor que se puede hacer sin incurrir en delitos graves, esa visibilidad es la que les asusta, la ofensa pública. Que vuelvan a tener vergüenza de ser fascistas.
