Named for economist Robert Solow (and not Star Trek producer Herb Solow), the paradox can be paraphrased as “We can see the effects of Information Age everywhere, except in the productivity statistics.” The paradox is that, despite the massive drive to automate and computerize every profession…

“People need the latest gadgets in order to maximize their productivity” is a great opportunity to revisit the Solow Paradox.

When I was 13 I started doing volunteer public access cable, because I wanted to one day become the Technical Director of Late Night with David Letterman.

Not just Bell but also Brian Cox, Malcolm McDowell, John Ryhs-Davies, Julia Ormond, a bunch of people. All of the voice content is from an audiobook produced in 2010.

Not attacking anyone’s process here, but LUFS were invented by the ITU explicitly for the purpose of helping national regulators set standards for television and radio broadcasts, and particularly, commercials. Their usefulness for any other purpose is not supported.
Do you find LUFS measurements useful ?

If not, what's your biggest frustration or challenge?
