More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

Hooray, a browser is finally asking the public about what they think (and actually allowing you to opt out, finally)

And its worth it to do the survey just to see the results 😆 its a small hope spot in a rough time

if you havent cancelled spotify yet and this isnt the final nail in the coffin for you, i really dont know what else to say other than i hope some introspection finds you soon
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

Thousands left without water in the middle of winter in the UK. And those same people are now facing a massive bill hike.

Privatised water is a scam.

I've written to the Prime Minister asking why he won't end this rip off and bring failing South East Water into public hands.

Could Reform be any more of a bin for dodgy and disgraced Tories?

Who’s next… Johnson? Gove? Mogg?

Whoever is falling for this rebrand needs to give their head a wobble.

"The only way to stop the crossings is to leave the ECHR and to deport anyone arriving here illegally within a week"

I’m at Times Square, where an emergency “No War On Venezuela” protest just took to the street. Easily a thousand people here in real-feel 20°F weather.

“No more coups, no more wars, Venezuela’s not yours!”

As you read the news today, watch who phrases the news as an "illegal invasion and regime change" versus "bringing democracy". It'll tell you everything you need to know about the news source you're reading, and frankly should decide whether you ever read them seriously again.

-don't go to Clacton
-visit the US at least 6 times
