When I worked at Walgreens this man was yapping me up when I was working the front desk but as soon as he saw a young mom get in line with the baby formula and the specialty gallon of water he paid for that immediately, no questions asked. It was the specialty baby formula.
Community is the answer!
The interaction couldn’t be recorded for obvious reasons; but -

I am utterly unsurprised that churches are saying no to a starving baby and the plugs are immediately saying yes. This tracks perfectly with my experience.
