The real airplane clothing questions I have when I see PJs, slippers, pillows, etc.
Are you all sleeping in those when you get to your destination? Did you pack an extra pillow case? Are those slippers you would wear inside your house (intersects with wearing outside shoes in the home discourse)?

A part, *I think*, is one of my earliest memories being a test of the Emergency Broadcast System (now "Emergency Alert System").

I had an ok time during my stint in DC but the home trips (usually a Friday pm departure) really made it manageable. I really feel for that lone ATC.
And folks who are forced to go hungry. And the workers missing paychecks.

US airlines cancelled 780 flights, or 3% of total scheduled, on Friday, Nov. 7, the first day of the FAA’s shutdown-related flight cuts. Cuts will step up to 10% of flights at 40 key airports over the next week.
