The Tsuchinoko is a Japanese yōkai that looks like a short, fat snake. Considered folklore by most, some claim to have really seen it.
In the 1900s, the Yamaoka family was said to not only meet, but befriend a Tsuchinoko. They called it Anpan, and fed it fruit and sake when it visited.

Thinking about Borderlands and RNG and how you'd add a chase like the Nemesis Invader to a game like Destiny where meta and balance still have to be a consideration even in pve... And if intentionally adding such a chase is even reasonable in the first place.
