This reminds me of a thing my therapist (who specializes in coaching neurodivergent people) says:

You deserve support to figure out how to be a good version of yourself, not a mediocre imitation of someone neurotypical.

I am wearing a "some people are trans, get over it" t-shirt, and a man in a cafe just gave me two slices of cheesecake when I only ordered one. I can only assume that, as well as being the morally correct choice, supporting trans people also gets you free cake.

This is unbelievably sad - for me there's so much recognition, same era, equally complicated time with parents who saw their children as alien. The mother who had next to no kindness in her. So painful. Bravo

It’s Bunya Pine cone season!

The female cones of the Bunya Pine (Araucaria bidwillii) are among the largest in the world. These three cones all fell from the tree in our garden this week and weigh ~8.1kg each.

The Bunya Pine is an ancient tree. It is endemic to Queensland in Australia but has been planted successfully in many other parts of the world.

These trees are of cultural and spiritual significance to several Aboriginal groups in eastern Australia.

Yeah......this ain't a great forecast.
Word on the street it will rival the heatwaves of 2009 and 1939.
Some inland parts of Australia will get into the high 40s. The last i checked, some models were Predicting low 50s in some inland places.
Im really nervous about this one.

Folks, blocking is essential self-care.
Social media by design favours conflict. It is important to curate that to which you expose your mind.
I can guarantee you that if you block me, for instance, you won't be missing anything.
Number of followers/following is a ridiculous status symbol.
