I just watched Rogue One, then went on Twitter to see the fallout from Elon’s hint about removing the Block feature.

It’s like I'm still in the evac scene. Tense levels of distribution of codes to ensure the Trans-Twitter rebels’ safety before its destruction!

Rebellions are built on hope.

The trans community’s trust in the NHS’ new puberty blocker trial is low and I can’t help but wonder whether they could have prevented that by involving ANY trans people in its design or operation, and maybe not involving several people who have attended conferences of anti-LGBTQ hate groups

AI companions are the new Internet Explorer toolbar sprawl.

I just sat at my desk and said, "What should I do now?" under my breath, and ten tabs gave their opinions! 🤦‍♀️

If we're talking about bias, why do BBC politics programmes, from Politics Live to the Laura Kuennsberg Show, still always begin with a look at the newspaper front pages, which are overwhelmingly biased in one direction. Helps frame the entire news agenda and debate in their favour

So far, only 2 players have scored for Everton at each of the last 3 stadiums that have been their home ground - Anfield, Goodison Park and Hill Dickinson Stadium:

Michael Keane and Idrissa Gueye. #EFC

BBC Director General Tim Davie and news CEO Deborah Turness have both quit. Getting rid of a former Tory candidate and the woman who wanted to change output to gain the trust of Reform voters should definitely sort out any left wing bias.

When people talk about the excesses of MeToo, they have to lie, because the reality is that there was no massive social reckoning forcing people to believe survivors or hold perpetrators accountable. In fact, there has been a significant backsliding and new punishments in rejection of MeToo

The news story that reveals Wes Streeting’s puberty-blocker ban to be nothing to do with “protecting children” and everything to do with Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer being deeply transphobic bigots…

Saw a news report yesterday about children as young as 9 being given weight loss jabs on the NHS, and I think it shows just how utterly bullshit the “lack of research into long term impacts” excuse for banning puberty blockers for trans kids really was. It’s purely ideological.

kind of annoys me when people use the aesthetics of graffiti to show they're edgy and cool while also calling for more punitive laws, which punish the graffiti artists who give that aesthetic its cultural meaning

There is a moment at this time of year when the word ‘apricity’ really comes into view. For those who don’t know it, it was recorded only once, in 1623, before slipping out of view. Apricity is the warmth of the sun on a chilly day.

Austerity. Brexit. Transphobia. Racism. For too long, politics in the UK has been about being horrible to people. Time to change that.

Of course, if the facilities are gender-neutral, or separated by gender not sex, or provided in areas that the Supreme Court ruling had no relevance to, like workplace facilities under the 1992 Regulations, no one is ‘flouting’ any law to be inclusive.
