the people who are always clutching democrats like they are their relatives dont get it. these people, including the ones "on our side" work for us. they do as we tell them to. we dont beg them to come around to our way of thinking. they follow our orders.

The reason congressional Dems are becoming more and more vocal about firings and impeachments is because the base pushed them towards it. *That's* why we should be critical of them when need be.

if dems made miller and noem’s firing the prerequisite for a vote on DHS funding, and then withheld the vote anyway after they’re fired, I would actually respect them for once.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Your father is choking your brother. What do you do?

Well, if your father is choking your brother, it is necessary to stop your father. You'd probably stop trusting somebody who said it wasn't necessary; anyway, I'd hope so.

There are a lot of ways to stop your father.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

It's a good time to remember that, for the past 3 decades, it has been the overt goal of the GOP to incapacitate the IRS.
IRS faces challenges in 2026 tax season due to jobs cuts and new laws
The IRS has seen a 27% reduction in staff since the start of Trump's second administration. The agency also is dealing with leadership turnover and implementation of new tax laws.

This much is clear: Stephen Miller is in charge. They've shipped off Bovino, they're hanging Noem out to dry, Trump is using slightly conciliatory language...and Miller is still running a blitzkrieg in Minnesota. He, not Trump, is in charge. And he is the one Democrats should fight to remove.
here's a video from this afternoon in Eden Prairie MN of ICE agents camping out as a bus stop.

Again, this is terrorism.

oh they are going to rip each other to shreds as it becomes clear that the country has decisively turned against them
Genuinely interesting. Kristi Noem is snitching that Stephen Miller is the one who made up the bullshit about Alex Pretti.

It would be genuinely useful if Congress can get her to admit that he has been dictating ALL OF THIS just like he dictated the murderboats.
