This is also a consistent phenomenon in RAM and NAND specifically, where double ordering is the norm and take or pay contracts never really get enforced.

I think Klein comes off more so as being a character totally out of time, as opposed to just “bad”. When Mitt Romney embodies the Republican Party, Klein et al are fine enough, but for a decade now they have been completely useless at persuasion. More than anything I think Klein should just retire.

The stakes are much lower obviously, but this is an important point about trading stocks, or making career choices, or any number of things.
