I'm not in cybersecurity these days, but I literally worked on encryption for government (state-level) full time, I did anti-hacker work for a dotcom, and have been running firewalls for various companies since 1995.

A lot more people should know about the bravery Marimar Martinez displayed in the midst of Chicago’s occupation and the murder of two observers in MSP. They tried to kill her, shooting her 5 times, and it’s a miracle she’s alive to push for transparency like this after being persecuted by the DOJ.

An underappreciated point which I think got forgotten from older discourse is that one of the primary reasons ice needs to be shut down and abolished is that they are indistinguishable from random vigilantes.
