Whelp, two contractors have turned in their notice. This is probably the beginning of a mass exodus. And I can’t blame them.

Dammit. Another round of layoffs in our group due to budget realignment at corporate HQ. Losing 3 great contractors at the end of the month. 🥲

We wouldn't be where we are today without the incredible team of contractors we'd had, some for 5+ years. I know the rest of them are wondering who's next.

Mostly the fact they look cool and typically move at human speed or faster rather than slow and lumbering like their mass would imply.

I’d be scared as hell of something that could stomp me flat, ignored pretty much all ballistics, and wielded a giant lightsaber.

Post your old work, keep posting it at every opportunity, share what you’re proud of and brings you joy. Don’t wait for a day that’s every 3 months. Your art is on a portfolio for a reason so never ever just focus on what’s new. Heck have I shown any new work in 6 months? Fuck no I’m tired.

Honestly, I'm rooting for destiny 2 just because I want the talent that's still there to thrive.

They've been cut in half, just shaken off something ugly and are absolutely in the trenches...but for all the times that game has misstepped, it's had some utterly god tier spells/moments.

I know I’m turning into an old man when I’m seeing news/rumors about PS6 and Xbox [New Ridiculous Name] coming out next year and I’m like “Why? What’s the point?”

Outside of a new form factor that isn’t giant ass slab, I find it hard to care about 10 more fps or whatever.
