Buttigieg said parents have legitimate concerns.

To be clear: If you cannot be relied on to unequivocally defend transgender kids, you can’t be relied on to defend anyone or anything.

I cannot get over how no one in mainstream politics even disputes factual claims like this. Everyone admits that Israel is starving children and murdering desperate civilians. The only ‘debate’ is about what to call it and whether the motives of people protesting it are pure enough.

this is an induced famine happening in real time and the people being starved to death have internet access and are screaming for help everywhere they can and a whole contingent of people on here keep having all their accounts deleted because their desperate pleas for help are kind of annoying
this is one of the worst crimes in human history and the entire global north and all of us in it share the responsibility

Today, I made a donation to support Alaa and her children in Gaza. Alaa is a mother I've been in contact with for some time, and her family is facing immense hardship. Her children are in poor health and urgently need support. If you're able to contribute, it could make a real difference for them.
Help me save my family and escape from Gaza to Eygpt
My name is Alaa, and I am a mother of three precious children: Musa, who is 12 years old, and my twin daughters, Ella and Ellen, who are 8 years old. Before October 7th, our lives were filled with hop...

Incredible news out of New Hampshire tonight: we pushed the Republican governor (who faces re-election every 2 years) to veto a book ban AND an anti-trans bathroom ban 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I needed this good news today.

Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte vetoed seven New Hampshire bills, many intended to strengthen parental rights, bucking conservative wing of her party.

The safety and existence of trans people isn’t just some box to be checked, it’s a non-negotiable baseline. If that’s considered a debatable issue, there’s no real democracy worth “getting back.”

Some rich people could come together to meet the gap right now. Commit to 4 years funding.
If you can, please consider a PBS membership. It will keep help some stations on the air, and some shows being produced.

The most at risk stations (many in red areas) may not survive the funding cuts, but the more we can keep running, the easier it'll be to rebuild. And we need PBS!
Republicans claim to be against “cancel culture,” but they are literally canceling Big Bird this week.
