Trying to be positive and look on the bright side of everything
I'm #autistic "and also happy" because I am choosing to find the small joys in life and make them big in my life, and also being autistic contains expanded opportunities for joy and I'm appreciating that.
Much autistic pain comes from living in a world without accommodation/understanding.

Arguably the biggest impact is realizing and accepting that typical environments and interactions are often inherently overwhelming to us, and adapting, informed, to that knowledge.

You are telling me, an #autistic person, that I actually live in a country that has the most direct and clear communication of almost any in the world (yet I still am considered way too blunt and direct myself)??!? How on earth do Japanese autistic people cope?! 😭

There is a proper amount of pedantic. Too little, and people are going through their lives being wrong. We can't have that.
Too much, and you're just being controlling. It stifles freedom & creativity.
People just need to be pedantic about their pedantic-ness. </s>
Like, if you're incorrect I will correct you and I'll be like, I'm not being pedantic but if someone else is 0.00001% more pedantic than I am I get so mad
then may I suggest a very small amount of self-reflection and empathy, perhaps as a treat?
