Also we have data on this, high income men are much more likely to marry high income women than sweet girls who work at the coffee shop.
you've tweeted 452k times since december 2013. that's 103 tweets a day. assuming you sleep 8 hours a day, that's a new tweet every ten mins for twelve years. talking about how to attract a high value man. brother, you need to attract a HIGH VALUE JOB

If you want to see how quickly everyone goes into manufacturing consent mode, compare the full-court press tonight to the response to any of the people ICE has shot in the last few months, some of whom died.

People will die, and are currently dying, because RFK was granted one of the most powerful megaphones in the country. Two people who could have thrown barriers in front of his climb decided not to; there's a sex scandal here but it is not the biggest scandal.

I hope that this doesn't just become about "Nuzzi is bad" but fosters a wider recognition that our culture of political journalism that didn't just tolerate her, but promoted and celebrated her even after the allegations were known, is rotten to the core and has been for a long time.
this was bad before, but these are the most troubling and serious allegations you can make about a journalist. if they’re true, i genuinely can’t think of a worse scandal in the history of political journalism. devastating to our industry, to public trust as a whole, and to everyone in its orbit

"a single person of this demographic may have committed a crime, therefore we must punish the entire demographic" is a policy response you may recognize from fascist governments dedicated to ethnic cleansing elsewhere.

this is a bluesky bubble opinion. 800M+ people use chatgpt every week. I hate Facebook and Instagram and I wish they didn’t exist, but 3B and 2B people use them every month, respectively. it’s very hard to picture a mass or even a niche left backlash against them
i think tech and ai positive people are going to be in for a big shock when anti tech and anti ai sentiment becomes a major part of leftwing politics going forward especially as datacenters continue to destroy communities and raise electricity bills
Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved more towards acceptance?

Yeahhhh, Ana is 100% right here.
I am a little tired of being yelled at for this but apparently not tired about: heroin addiction is not RFK’s problem. He’s a sociopath. Most addicts aren’t. Honestly, walk into an NA meeting, grab the first person with a few years to be head of HHS and they’d probably do a better job than Bobby.
This is what happens when you put a privileged, 14 year heroin addict in charge of health. Duh

I really, really wanted to believe in deliverism. Seeing the Biden admin catch almost as much flak from the far left as the far right for giving unprecedented support to the working class was extremely black pilling.
God this is so depressing given the political response to it

Did you really read this whole long thread? Wow! Go spread the word: DOGE isn't actually over.
The "DOGE is gone" articles are clickbait but this one gets it closer to the truth: DOGE is not gone, it just claims to have "no centralized leadership" anymore -- in other words, its leadership is hiding in an attempt to avoid blame.
DOGE no longer has ‘centralized leadership’ under White House tech team, personnel head says
The team that was altered to house DOGE — formerly the U.S. Digital Service — is also still doing its own technology work across agencies.

Beyond anything metaphysical, the point of school is learning and using LLMs to write your homework for you is like taking a forklift to the gym and claiming you’re lifting weights.
Pope Leo XIV told students not to use artificial intelligence for homework, saying that AI ‘won’t stand in authentic wonder before the beauty of God’s creation.’

turns out best way to beautify your city is also best way to adapt to climate change:

deprioritize cars & on-street parking

prioritize sustainable mobility and sponge city principles (de-paving streets for trees)

bonus points: cleaner air, reduced urban heat islands, better public health outcomes

RFK Jr. is neither a joke nor a well-intentioned proponent of public health with a few kooky beliefs. He's a menace, evil even by the standards of Trump's inner circle, and the failure of the political press to convey this is maddening
I actually think it’s okay to take a ridiculous scandal seriously when it involves a wingnut conspiracy theorist in charge of things like vaccine policy and pandemic preparedness

It also is only possible because the last administration made it legal for Medicare to negotiate drug prices
First of all. This is a good thing. That Trump has done. (This might be my first praise in a year).

Secondly. Let’s recall what senior Congresisonal GOP leadership said the last time the president negotiated drug prices.

Well done people.

This should be a major scandal. The Blaze falsely reported that a former U.S. Capitol Police officer was the Jan. 6th pipe bomber. But it wasn’t just another miss by conservative media promoting conspiracies.

Someone in US intel - at ODNI - was promoting it:

One of the big tidal forces of the coming years is that the baseline reliability of things you see on a screen is going to decline.

I think this has not been adequately metabolized.

This is one version, but there are a bunch of them.
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Candian media hemming and hawing about whether Schaefer belongs on the Olympic team is hilarious. Who are you bringing instead?

Colton Parayko’s desiccated corpse?

Travis Sanheim? lol, lmao even.

How many Canadian D are you even confident are better than Schaefer right now, today? Makar?
