Yet will still vote for someone that will praise Clinton and denounce actual leftists that want to hold power accountable for once.
Nobody gives a shit if Bill Clinton is in the Epstein Files because we’re not in a Bill Clinton cult wearing Bill Clinton hats getting Bill Clinton tattoos and flying Bill Clinton flags.

Throw Bill Clinton in jail with the rest of the pedos.

Jfc this shouldn’t be that difficult.

I got laid off in November had to pay an absurd amount to keep my coverage through Dec since I was finishing up a diagnosis for a nerve issue, telling all this to my doc lead to her trying to jam in a psych referral in Dec because it's all too likely I kill myself. But the graph says economy good
it is 'funny' that the question of 'why does everybody feel different about the economy than the way these graphs should indicate' never seems to account for 'a pandemic exposing thousands of people to our ramshackle and hyper expensive healthcare system AND killing many partners, roommates, etc'

Remember when they then gave it to someone who was calling for this?
Remember a few weeks ago when dude was all butthurt that he didn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize.
More saber rattling.

There are good reasons that the U.S. Constitution does not leave the decision on whether to go to war to the whims of one man.

This piece ignored how much the racist ass anti dei backlash played into it. Before funding was pulled I had to write a loyalty pledge changing my federal Grant project to denounce dei practices.

The Quick and Shameful Death of Biden’s Biggest Policy
It was far too easy for Republicans to kill the Inflation Reduction Act. Where did those who crafted it go wrong?

Fun fact, Joe Biden killed that culture. He wrote the rave act, which made it so that if harm reduction services were provided at a warehouse rave the property could be seized.
My only Gen X lead hosewater take is that the 90s was absolutely peak living for rave and hip hop fans. The parties were unbelievable, still lots of DIY shit going on in both universes so you'd have like Oakenfold show up at some warehouse party or Ghostface doing a quick cameo at some block party
First time I heard this I was at the old 1415 club in Philly. The dark dingy hot box that was pitch black and only had strobe lights. Fucking kicked ass, the city was awash in the good Mitsu ecstacy pills back then

Force the three year cycle of year 1 a most dangerous game movie, year two an enter the dragon movie, and year three a groundhog Day movie. Follow that cycle constantly of new movies playing off those formulas.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Good policy ideas to address a corporate corruption issue getting implemented with ease and no counter campaign calling him a filthy commie from Russia? yeah utopian for sure comparatively.
Idiocracy hasn’t been a documentary ever, but it is becoming a more utopian vision of the future with each passing year

genuinely says so much about what twitter has become that the biggest rightwing grift accounts pushing US fascist narratives aren’t real people and not even close to the united states

HEHEHE cia analyst pretending to care about human rights. good one.
Sorry. My faith teaches that when someone offers a sincere apology, you accept it and move forward. Doesn’t mean you have to befriend them or forget the past. It did mean you give up the quest to exact retribution, and you certainly don’t mock their apology.

I realize not everyone is of my faith.

Signed in to linkedin for the first time in a decade due to the whole laid off thing, and saw the old contacts from grad school that were rich as fuck fawning over CoP 30, and the contacts from my international development days saying its nothing. All that really needs to be noted on the shit event.
November 23, 2025 at 2:28 PM
Oh if only someone knew these stories! Come the fuck on dude. We all saw what was happening, there was no bombshell truth bomb that was undoing this stuff. Like the thing that undid gaetz wasn't his statuary rape, just that senators didn't like him personally.

I maintain any legislative seat vacated for reasons other than death or health likely to lead to death should not get any replacement until the regularly scheduled election. fuck this special election because you elected a grifter cashing out or criminals that somehow get caught in office

Hey why weren't the Dems that did back it not shunned? And why did the party actually try to make them president or top diplomat?
Once you move beyond viewing “the Dems” or “the Republicans“ as single unitary political actors these claims become kind of silly
And it’s still bullshit! The Dems supported every war that the Republicans wanted

Really fucking fun to talk about the only military withdrawal happening under da when they were negotiated under Rs and in the case of Iraq uh undone under a d.
Like IMO it’s true that:

-Ds have generally been more dovish broadly in my lifetime than Rs.

Let’s not forget there have pretty much *only* been U.S. military withdrawals (Iraq under Obama, Afghanistan under Biden) under Ds

And credit for those has often been limited/absent

But it is also why so many journalists come from elite families this distorting the whole field. Like Glenn Kessler is willing to be the lying jack ass doing "fact checking" for bezos for so cheap because he has a trust fund.
Had the same reaction.

Y'all, folks are gonna climb over each other for this job, because that is absolutely *great* money for a journalism gig.

This is also why referring to journalists as "elite" always makes the lot of us chuckle a bit.
There are several replies pointing out how low that pay is, especially for NYC, and I'm once again realizing that people have no idea how shittily journalists are paid.
