I’m baffled that they somehow made an amazingly beautiful and melancholic Metroid Prime game and then added in a bunch of escort missions and chatty companions circa-2005. O_o

I have played the tutorial and first level of Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow. I like it. VR asides - and there are some nice VR specific touches - it feels like a cross between Thief 4 and Deadly Shadows.

I have many thoughts about this, one is I can't help but think this is all just shining a light on how games are still being held to wildly different standards than other media like film. I've played very few games like HORSES but watched so many films like it (as a connoisseur of arthouse horror).
