I am studying again this year and my research project is on Multi-agent reinforcement learning. But because I don't want to get shit confused with GenAI "agents", I've been calling my agents "little guys" and it is bringing me much joy.

Whenever I see a creator getting piled on for using (or being suspected of using) AI, all I can think about is how we're willfully making the destruction of our industry as painless and convenient as possible for billionaires and VC firms.
My literal 14 year old niece has complained about people demanding to know if her art is AI.
At some point people need to stop and take stock of the harm they are doing by pointing fingers without reasonable proof.

If you consistently ask artists if their work is generative AI, you're actually being more discouraging than generative AI is.

LLMs are a necronomicon. If you don't make your circles of protection and take care to distrust the smooth tongues and easy paths, you are going to find yourself in ruin. I do suspect that they will get dumb again though.
I'm considering there may be an immense systemic risk for many of those who are tech-adjacent not understanding the true peril human-presenting LLM's contort and mould minds of the common citizen who do not scarcely fathom what they are dealing with on a level beyond magic.
Overheard a rich guy at the gym say he relies on chat gpt to think. Not a joke, he went on to say he relies on it to tell him what to take when he leaves the house.
