Right you don't dismantle the Stasi because you have disagreements about policing and security, you dismantle the Stasi because it's the fucking Stasi.

ICE are an authority to themselves and themselves alone. They’re above all current laws and act like it. Don’t expect any current laws and norms to be protections against anything.

It can’t be reigned in. It has gone too far. This is exactly why ICE needs to be abolished. #ICE #Gestapo #USPol

“Help! I’m afraid that if I oppose ICE, I’ll be branded as anti-law enforcement!”

That isn’t a problem, bucko. That isn’t a real thing. ICE is not law enforcement. Illegal immigration is a misdemeanor. You’re the equivalent of having a death squad enforce parking rules.

Theres literally no way to gain any grace from the global community without convicting this whole regime and their enablers, removing them from public life, and rewriting the constitution so this can never happen again, and Dems who waver on this will doom us even further.

The influx of these low tier thugs to create an effective domestic army is another reason to get rid of this. Trying to reform it when its ranks are full of dumb, violent little boys is going to be impossible.

The only way to right the ship is to shut it down, fire them all and revert to CPB.
Mamdani: "I am in support of abolishing ICE. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people."

The end of an era in Cleveland after an amazing 78 years.

The new facility is awful compared to the historic opulence of this building. Although well accessible on the Red Line and a number of bus routes, this is a big loss for bus passengers in Cleveland.

Hope we find an exact date soon.

Gotta say with a left leaning province thanks to Winnipeg itself… I can see why despite the weather it’s attractive.

There will be a scouting visit at some point.
Winnipeg, MB: amid all the other ****, more evidence of City growth; 5th fastest growth in Canada. And oh yeah, something that got missed before Xmas: we bent the rental supply curve (events helped, but CMHC also credited growing supply) and late '25 vacancy is back up to 2.3%, up from 1.8% in '24.
For the first time, there are more than 850,000 people who can call themselves Winnipeggers.

I went to a meeting about this in my hometown once, it was just a bunch of boomers screaming "we like peace and quiet! We like it so much that we are willing to drive a half hour for everything!" Apparently these hum very loudly or something...

Trump is not the problem.
The Republican scum in congress are not the problem.
The Republican voting base *IS* the problem. And the fact that our legacy media has categorically refused to speak honestly about this problem, much less investigate how they got this way, is the other problem.
