This is the same virus that is now deeply embedded in the ecosystem of North America. Millions of infected poultry and wild birds. Thousands of infected dairy herds. Human infections. Vast opportunity for the virus to mutate to human to human transmission.

Having the realisation that the "COVID is just a cold" attitude is just survivorship bias, isn't it.

Quite telling I think that when you become chronically ill people will just start assuming you're stupid, even if they believe you're ill.

You can’t “try harder” your way out of chronic illness.

You can’t “healthy diet” your way out of chronic illness.

Disability is not your fault. It’s not a moral failing.

Absolutely we should do whatever we can to be healthy, but folks need to accept that disability can & will happen to everyone

So UK Labour have/will cut support for:
- the elderly
- the sick and disabled
- children

Literally bully behaviour, taking pocket change from the most powerless and giving the powerful a free pass.

Labour's changes to the UK's disability benefits system are appalling. Allegedly motivated by the large rise in disability claims since 2020, the government has decided to punish disabled people rather than address the cause of rising claims: long covid. This move will cause harm and cost lives.

Public health urging people not to hold “measles parties”

This is what years of covid minimization & pro-infection policies has caused. We now think the way to health is to get infected.

Kids with measles used to be locked in closets to protect them from sunlight AND to protect other children.
No, ‘measles parties’ aren’t a good idea
Measles in Texas made a lot of news. But it's not just an American problem.
