It is indeed exhausting and fucking sucks and we shouldn't have to live like this, but sadly changing that is no easy feat so we unfortunately do have to keep doing this shit because the alternative of all this garbage passing without opposition is only going to make any change for the better harder
I'm gonna be real honest man, the fact that we have to keep constantly exhorting everyone to call their elected representatives every other day to say "please do not sign off on the Make Life Worse For Everyone Bill please" is intensely degrading, and also a pretty poor sign for a functional society
